I finally summoned the courage to get my own copy of my book as well as a couple others for close family. Call it nerves, I just couldn't do it right away. They were delivered today and my supportive wife Angel opened the box for me and checked it out first because I was a little nervous to see it. I really appreciate how much she has supported me throughout this rollercoaster and continues to everyday with whatever may happen to take place. She is my rock but she's so much more than that and to me, she's the paint to my canvas, the pen to my paper... she knows she's my everything. Without her gentle nudging, I may never have found the confidence to finish writing this book and publish it.
I am proud of this accomplishment and the weight that has been lifted off of my shoulders which has allowed me to explore my creative side. Thank you Angel.
I also need to thank those along the way that have supported my writing, publishing my story and for being a survivor and finding the courage to speak out about it.
